Dirk De Bruyn
Dirk was originally a mining engineer with experience in underground and opencast mining production before moving across to the Oil & Energy sector. Beginning in front-line sales Dirk has held numerous commercial management roles in West Africa, East Africa and Asia, before joining TOTAL’s Strategy Marketing and Research Division in Europe overseeing Total’s global portfolio of industrial customers.
Dirk leads a team of Global Key Account and Global Segment Managers covering the industrial segments of Mining, Construction, Cement, Steel, Power and Industrial Services. The team’s key activities focus on three axis’s; (1) Ensuring our Customers’ Peace of Mind while using our core range of products, (2) Assisting them with the Operational Excellence with a defined programme to reduce their Total Cost of Ownership, and assisting them in their journey of Energy Transition to a lower carbon footprint with TOTAL products such as Solar, LNG, CNG, Special Fluids, Digital Solutions and a wide range of Energy Management Services.
